World of WarShips journey around the world
Full Steam Ahead: World of Warships Is Taking Players on a Journey Around the World!
World of Warships players are set to get a latitude adjustment by battling it out on the newly added Seychelles map, start gathering the new Allied Heroes Collection, commence construction of a Japanese Tier IX ship in the Dockyard, and meet a fresh intake of hololive production Commanders in its latest update.
Wargaming, publisher and developer of the leading naval multiplayer game, World of Warships, is sailing around the globe in its latest update. Packed with content, it sees the Japanese Tier IX battleship Daisen being laid down in the Dockyard, the addition of the exotic new Seychelles map, and a brand-new collection themed around the Allied powers of World War II. On top of all that, much-loved characters from hololive production are making a return to the game, with four new VTuber Commanders ready to accompany players into battle!
Daisen Drops Anchor in the Dockyard
A new challenge has kicked off at the Kure Dockyard, with the construction of Japanese Tier IX Battleship Daisen getting underway. Sitting pretty at the end of a 34-stage shipbuilding process and the accompanying array of perfectly challenging combat missions, Daisen is a truly worthy prize to pursue. This remarkable ship boasts a great top speed, eight accurate 410 mm guns, and four far-reaching quadruple-tube torpedo launchers that can inflict massive damage. These strong characteristics more than make up for the ship’s less robust armor and pool of hit points. In celebration of this exciting new project that allows players to witness the construction of a true titan of the seas, the Kure Port has been decorated to create an appropriately festive atmosphere. The Dockyard offers players a unique opportunity to see firsthand what goes into building such a magnificent ship.
Sailing the Seychelles
Expanding the horizons of World of Warships’ waters, a new map that mirrors the tropical Seychelles Islands has been introduced in Update 12.3. Specifically bearing a striking resemblance to the mountainous islands of Praslin and La Digue, this new map with its verdant and leafy green landscapes will be available for both Random and Co-op Battles. Tier V–IX ships can compete in Domination mode with four Key Areas, scattered across the map in two possible configurations.
New Allied Heroes Collection
World of Warships also welcomes the brand-new “Allied Heroes” themed collection dedicated to the end of World War II in Europe. With 12 different elements to collect, players who complete each section will be rewarded with corresponding Commanders for the Allied nations, each primed with 10 skill points. The collectible elements can be found in the new “Allied Heroes” containers, which are obtainable for Credits and free XP in the Armory. The prize waiting at the end of the entire collection is 3 days of Warships Premium Account—a useful commodity that allows players to massively enhance their in-game resource earnings.
Say a Big Hello to hololive production!
Closing out Update 12.3’s content drop, hololive production characters are making a return to the game. Four Japanese virtual bloggers (VTubers) join the ranks of Commanders. Choose from different commanders including Watson Amelia and Takanashi Kiara, who are each equipped with their own unique voiceover, to take the helm in battle. Alongside these new additions, this partnership also introduces a special expendable camouflage and a commemorative flag.
This update also delivers several bug fixes, upgrades, and balance changes to the game. You can find the full patch notes on World of Warships
