War Thunder Officially Released

 

War Thunder's latest update, 'Way of the Samurai' marks the end of the Open Beta. The game leaves behind another phase and moves on to its final stage. This update introduces Japanese vehicles, cockpit interiors for all planes, two new maps and some additional improvements. Watch the launch trailer below.

“After reaching this important development milestone, which marks the end of Open Beta, the goals set out for War Thunder in 2012 are now complete. We will focus on adding new features and improvements, to let virtual pilots, tankers and navy captains enjoy one of the most realistic, extensive and accessible war simulations of all time”, says Kirill Yudintsev, Creative Director of Gaijin Entertainment.

'Way of the Samurai' brings 30 new ground vehicles, featuring light and medium tanks, anti-aircraft vehicles and self-propelled guns.

Additionally, the update introduces several holiday events where players can unlock premium vehicles for free.
