War Thunder is now available on PS4

War Thunder is finally landed on PlayStation 4 and is now available for free to everyone through PlayStation Network (PSN). The console version of the game, already featuring the Ground Forces expansion, is completely cross-platform compatible and allows users from PS4, PC and Mac to play together and against each other.



"Our daily efforts have been recognized by the community and help to explain why War Thunder has an audience of more than 7 million players battling to be top gun on our PC version, and now we're welcoming North American PS(r)4 owners to join the fight! PlayStation 4 has allowed us to create a very beautiful game, which is looking on par with most powerful computers. Also, the PlayStation Camera is a very handy device for a flight combat game - it makes head-tracking possible, which is invaluable in frantic dogfights." said CEO of Gaijin Entertainment Anton Yudintsev.

 

   

 

This new version is launching with its very own perks such as the chance to purchase a content pack, called "invader" which contains special gameplay bonuses and the American Invader warplane. Moreover, console users will have a unique decal for their planes.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will also have a free plane: the P-36A "Hawk" fighter of lieutenant Philip M. Rasmussen (which will be available later on this month), an additional decal and the chance to buy the premium account at a discounted price.
