Travian celebrates its ninth birthday

Travian, the popular browser empire-building browser game, this September is celebrating its ninth birthday with a new special world and exclusive raffles with limited amulets as prizes.

 "There will be a birthday world.", Game-Director Eckart Foos explains. "The special thing is, apart from many other surprises, that there will be a prolonged settling in period, thus making the entrance into the game easier and establishing a balance between players with different experience levels. Also we will give away Travian gold for our birthday!"

The game was launched in September 2004 and is still healty and popular with its 125 million players, making it  one of the most popular and best known browser games internationally.
