The Festive Season Arrives in World of Warships With the Holiday-Themed December Update

The most wonderful time of the year is spreading cheer across the high seas of World of Warships, and players can celebrate the festivities through an array of in-game events, rewards, and more!

06. December - Wargaming, developer and publisher of leading naval multiplayer game World of Warships, are starting the festive season celebrations with their December update. This winter update will see World of Warships, World of Warships: Legends, and World of Warships: Blitz updated with limited-time content to sprinkle some seasonal joy on the raging naval battles.

With in-game rewards, unique holiday-themed events, an Advent Calendar, and many more updates to all the titles, World of Warships are set to close 2023 with a wealth of content for players to get stuck into and enjoy.

The Holidays in Santa City event presents players with an opportunity to earn an abundance of festive rewards. Set across 20 stages, with post-progression available, players must complete daily and weekly missions to earn exciting gifts, including German Tier VII Premium battleship Scharnhorst ‘43. The Salvage for Victory event also makes a return with 100 stages to advance through and a variety of new rewards on offer at different stages. One standout reward is cruiser Kitakami, a ship that was tested and caused a major stir during the 2015 beta but was never released and has since gained legendary status amongst the player base.

From December 7 through 12, players will also be able to find a bonus code on the official World of Warships website. This special code will allow both new and existing players to unlock a bundle of festive goodies for their accounts, with battleship Bismarck and a permanent camouflage for a Tier VIII ship among the pressies!

And for Steam users, the bundle containing the tier IV Yubari, will be for free from December 7th to the 13th!

The festive season arrives with gusto in World of Warships: Legends

As part of the December update, World of Warships: Legends players will be able to unlock an incredible set of rewards, including three ships and two majestic Commander guises, using a special event currency. A seasonal new Card collection will also allow players to earn more rewards, including exclusive French Tier II Premium destroyer En. Gabolde W. Additionally, players can enjoy a free Holiday Box gift bundle, a 3-week Advent Calendar packed with rewards such as the King of Winter Commander guise, and new winter ships to acquire alongside four Early Access vessels.

Daily rewards await players in World of Warships: Blitz

To get players into the holiday spirit, World of Warships Blitz is celebrating Xmas with various events, promotions, and a special Advent Calendar, running from December 1 through 24. Every day during that period, players can log in to unlock tasty rewards or take on daily Blitz Challenges to earn coveted Santa and Elf Keys, which unlock exclusive content such as ships, camouflages, Blueprints, and more. Players will be able to sail across icy battlefields with the latest map addition—Island of Ice—and four new ships will also be made available: Huron, Tromp, Daisen, and W. Virginia '41.
