RuneScape Expands To Eastern Lands

 

RuneScape has added a vast new area with procedurally-generated islands that players can claim and make their own. The first three on the western edge of the continent -Whale’s Maw, Waiko and Aminishi- are now discoverable. Watch the cinematic trailer below.

On these islands long-term players will have to start afresh so they will be on the same level with new users.

“RuneScape’s world of adventures never stands still and, 15 years on, RuneScape continues to deliver cutting-edge content thanks to our awesome community who we empower to decide on key new content to bring to the game,” explained Dave Osborne, lead designer, RuneScape.

“This year, our players have driven our biggest content update, the first steps towards an entirely new continent – the Polynesian-inspired Eastern Lands. Its release marks a new chapter in RuneScape’s epic story, and we couldn’t have got here without their support, feedback and passion.”
