Gigantic Storms Onto Xbox One and Windows 10
Motiga has announced a partnership with Microsoft to publish their free to play 3D action MOBA Gigantic on Windows 10 and Xbox One later this year (available for free with Xbox Live Membership). The title will feature cross-platform and with the partnership, Motiga will gain access to testing/QA infrastructure for both platforms; also, Gigantic will be available in more languages.
“It’s gratifying to see our partners at Microsoft express the same enthusiasm for Gigantic that Motiga and our community have felt all along,” said Motiga CEO Chris Chung. “The game itself made this collaboration happen, and we can’t wait to get Gigantic in as many gamers’ hands as possible.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with Motiga to bring Gigantic to Windows 10 and Xbox One,” said head of Xbox Phil Spencer. “We’re always looking for ways to bring new, innovative experiences to gamers, and Gigantic being one of the rare games that appeal to fans across multiple genres is a great example of that.”
“The game offers a variety of heroes that map to your natural play style and gives you opportunities no matter what your gaming background,” said Motiga VP of Product Development James Phinney, the lead designer for iconic games StarCraft and the Guild Wars franchise. “With Gigantic, we’ve worked to create a game that feels fluid and natural to play, while delivering an entirely new competitive experience.”
