OVERVIEW

LEGO Legends of Chima Online is a free-to-play MMO game set in an immersive and interactive game world based on the popular toy line and cartoon series. Players of all ages can build and customize their character and outpost in the world of Chima, explore massive environments, take on missions, uncover hidden secrets and treasures, battle enemies, earn rewards, and use LEGO bricks to build tools, gadgets, and more.

OUTPOST

As new commanders of their outpost, it is up to the players to decide what they want to build and where they want to build it. There are more than a dozen building types available that players can collect, build and upgrade as they expand their outpost. The process of upgrading buildings requires studs and can be speeded up by using the premium currency. When players gain levels, new areas become available in their outposts for purchase and expansion.

Every building provides benefits from generating and collecting studs, creating weapons and armour, or providing the player’s hero with special skills and abilities. It’s also possible to build and destroy LEGO creations within the game world.

CRAFTING

Before players are able to craft items such as weapons or amours, they have to gather coloured bricks and construct the corresponding crafting building. They also need building instructions telling them which kind of bricks is required. Instructions can be obtained from treasure chests, defeating enemies and completing goals.

CREATIVITY & CUSTOMISATION

In LEGO Legends of Chima Online, players can be the hero they want to be, playing the way they want to play. There are no classes and no restrictions, therefore their hero’s skills depend on what kind of outpost they choose to build. They can customise items by picking which colour brick they want to build them with. Using LEGO building instructions and collected bricks, players can craft their own weapons, gadgets and amour in order to customise their play style and earn rewards.

COMBAT

Combat is as easy as selecting a target with the mouse and clicking in order to attack. To use the right hand weapon, a right click is needed while a left click triggers the usage of the weapon in the hero’s left hand. The attack power can be increased with Chi Up power for a limited period of time when players have collected enough Chi orbs (little glowing blue balls of energy).

Players also have the opportunity to use spewers as offensive powers after having built a turret bay in their outpost. When placed, spewers guard the area for a short period of time. To summon a companion in battle, the corresponding building has to be constructed as well. Companions fight at the hero’s side for a certain period of time or until defeated.

LEGO Legends of Chima Online is committed to providing players with a safe playing environment. As online safety is of paramount importance, there are active chat filters and moderation in place to help prevent the collection and sharing of personal information.

CURRENCIES & PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP

There are two currencies within the game: Studs function as the regular in-game currency that is used for constructing and upgrading buildings, levelling up, and purchasing items. Gold Bricks are considered as premium currency. They are rarely found in the wilderness, but awarded for completing missions and can be won during community events.

The game is free-to-play and does not require any money to create an outpost, go on adventures, or to level up. Players are able to earn both Studs and Gold Bricks simply through playing the game, which enables them to create new buildings, craft weapons, or forge armour. They may moreover purchase a membership plan granting them exclusive in-game items, bigger inventory space, additional power slots, exclusive buildings, the ability to upgrade to the highest tiered buildings, expanded outposts, ability to trade more often and extra Gold Bricks.
