OVERVIEW

Archlord 2 is the spiritual successor to the original Archlord game, set in a parallel universe where in this world the old Archlord has fallen and the two factions of Chantra continue their never-ending fight for supremacy and to claim the ultimate title of Archlord for themselves. The game is self-proclaimed as being an “intense PvP MMORPG” where players can fight in epic realm v realm combat fighting for one of the two available factions.

LORE

In the medieval world of Chantra the Archlord, supreme ruler of the realm and the Gods’ own immortal champion has been corrupted with his own power, charged with protecting the world and its people this fallen hero has now taken on the mantle of “Lord of Chaos” and turn on those who had made him.

The Archlord fell and now it turns to new heroes and power hungry threats to battle over the title of Archlord, a battle between the Realm of Light who seek to keep the land cleansed of evil and the Realm of Darkness who seek only to destroy it and bring the realm to bended knee.

FACTION BASED COMBAT

That mechanics of the game is epic realm versus realm (RvR) combat with from the beginning players get to choose one of the two factions, each of which has a unique race associated with it, the Realm of Light being lead by the Humans of Aimhigh and the Realm of Darkness lead by the Orcs of Demolition.

Each faction will initially only have one race available to it, but more races will be added in the future with ongoing expansions and updates. The different races available in the game have their own unique abilities and specialisations available to them, giving them their own different style of play.

COMBAT

With epic action-based arcade style combat entire realms will face off against each other on over forty different battlefields that can hold entire armies for some massive realm/faction based PvP as players battle for the ultimate title of Archlord.

GRAPHICS AND SOUND

The beautifully rendered graphics are anything you would expect from a modern MMORPG title, from detailed character designs to world environments, combined with the amazing soundtrack composed by Cris Velasco (God of War, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Borderlands) creates an immersive world that is brought to life.

PREMIUM

The game will be free to play from the beginning, with micro-transaction options where players can purchase items from within the in game store using real world currency. Some items currently limit gameplay for those who haven’t purchase them, encouraging players to purchase shop items to get the most out of the game.
