Free Trial of Guild Wars 2

Developer ArenaNet will host a free trial of its award-winning MMORPG Guild Wars 2 on August 23-25, 2013 in celebration of the game's record-breaking first year. They have also released the Guild Wars 2 Heroic Edition, including the base game plus the Heroic Pack full of useful digital items for new players.

Open to all North American and European players, the free trial starts 12:01 a.m. pacific time on August 23, 2013 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on August 25, 2013.

The Guild Wars 2 Heroic Edition is available for $49.99. The included Heroic Pack contains the following digital items ideal for new players:
- One Legacy Armor, a classic amor that allows players to adventure in style
- 18-slot Mithril Box, a huge storage box that increases the loot carrying capacity
- 10 Experience Boosters enabling players to level up faster
