First Look at Dead Island: Epidemic

We took some time out to check out the closed beta of Dead Island: Epidemic, the new MOBA-esq PvPvPvE MMO from Deep Silver that is set in the Dead Island franchise of tropical island zombie survival. In true Dead Island style players will collect all manner of items to create their own weapons and even get a touch of the zombie virus to give them mutant powers.

We had a play through Scavenger PvP mode, a 3 way battlefest fighting to capture points, and also the team coop PvE Horde mode where you battle through the level, defending points as waves of zombies appear to then face off against a level boss. Pretty exciting stuff, so check the video to see how we got on.
