Fine-tune Elsword Gameplay with New Mods for Old Skills

KOG Games, a leading developer and publisher of the popular free-to-play RPG ElswElsWordord, introduced more Mod Skills for five of the game’s characters.

Introduced in December 2017 as part of the 3rd Job Update, Mod skills allow players to use an alternative variation of one of their class’s specific skills. Compared to their original versions, the new Mod version could adjust properties such as range, damage, effects, and animation to provide a change in gameplay.

While every character’s path had a unique set of skills based on the path, the base skills were always the same regardless of the path. Now with the new Mod Force Skill update, players can change two of their character’s Base Skills to align with their character’s path. Players using Elsword’s 4th Path, Genesis, can change Flame Geyser, a powerful sword slam to the ground causing a pillar of fire, to Flame Geyser: Vanquish, surrounding themselves with El Energy and dashing towards enemies. This update will include mod skills for Elsword, Rena, Eve, Rose, and Laby, with each path getting 2 Mod skills that will change the game immensely.

Players who pre-registered for the Winter Update can now log in to receive a secret manual that will unlock the Mod Skill. The secret manual can also be obtained from dungeons starting from Tirnog region and beyond.

With the Hyper Punch Master and +11 Vestige of Soul Provision Events still active, players can also look forward to the More Power Up Event, earning additional rewards to help with their progression. Each week starting from 1/15/2025 through 2/11/2025 players can complete 4 special event quests to earn items, such as Tenebrous Aura to reforge their Tenebrous Armor for additional stats, Support Tenebrous Effect Select Tickets to adjust the properties to their liking, and an additional Weapon Growth Quest Count x3 Medal – Vestige of Soul cube to finish off the Stage Advancements.
