Cloud Pirates Officially Launching on April 19

My.Com's free to play MOBA, Cloud Pirates, will be officially released on April 19, and it will launch along with a new content update: Stronghold. This update will introduce three-players groups, leaderboards, a league system, guild strongholds, consumables and a new game mode.

The new League system allows players to compete and advance through six tiered leagues. This system replaces the previous Captain ratings, and it will be tied to individual ships.

The new game mode, "Stronghold Siege", will allow players to protect their own stronghold or to attack one. By capturing points and destroying structures, they will get points. Winners will receive a new type of currency that they can use to purchase special customization options.
