Play history Historical Questlines in Forge of Empires
Cleopatra, Vincent van Gogh, Sacajawea, Genghis Khan, Marie Curie and William Shakespeare visiting InnoGames' successful strategy game.
On their journey through the ages of human history, Forge of Empires players will receive a very special visitor: From April 26th to May 1st, a historical questline will revolve around the life of Cleopatra, the Egyptian queen and last female pharaoh.
Once the players have completed all quests, they will receive the Obelisk Garden as a special building. After its construction, Cleopatra will be carried on a lectica through the streets of the player’s capital as an animated character. Cleopatra will inhabit the player’s city even after the event has ended. The same applies to the protagonists of all upcoming historical questlines, which await players throughout the year.
Each questline gives insights into the lives of outstanding personalities of contemporary history and is rewarded with special buildings:
• Vincent van Gogh, Dutch painter and draftsman: May 10th - May 15th
• Sacajawea, famous Indian: May 24th - May 29th
• Genghis Khan, Mongolian ruler: July
• Marie Curie, physicist and chemist of Polish origin: August / September
• William Shakespeare, English playwright and lyricist: October
