The Royal Armour Rolls Out in War Thunder

War Thunder's latest content update, 'Royal Armour', introduces British Ground forces, new tanks, self-propelled guns, new vehicles and the first desert-themed maps. A new trailer has been released, which you can watch below.

The update will add to the popular MMO WWII online title three dozen authentically recreated vehicles British tanks (including variants of Valentine’s, Matildas, Cromwells and Churchills) over the coming weeks with five regular and four premium tanks starting for the Brits.

The new maps (Tunisia and El Alamein) offer up different combat conditions, from flat open ground with good visibility to undulating sand dunes and towns.

It also adds the very first armoured cars: the T172E2 and Mk.II AA; as well as other vehicles, such as the Mig-17 Jet fighter, the most modern Soviet aircraft in the game; three new Japanese fighters; the first American biplane; and new German and British bombers.

But that's not all. Royal Armour will also provide players with daily events, a way to earn war bonds that can be used by players to purchase boosters, supply boxes and other items. Players can complete 3 tasks per day all with different levels of difficulty.
