Ghost Recon Phantoms is Officially Live

Ubisoft has officially launched its multiplayer online TPS, Ghost Recon Phantoms (formerly Ghost Recon Online), and to celebrate the event, a new cinematic trailer has been released.



GRP changed a lot compared to what user were used to during the beta phases, as it now features a new interface, new character and weapon design and a whole new background story. The matchmaking and the progression systems have been improved in order to offer a more balanced experience and help new players.

Moreover, introduction of the ModMaster let players to fully customize weapons and characters. The maps are gradually  getting a full overhaul as well, and three of them are already available.

“The launch trailer is an accurate portrayal of the new DNA of the game. Sleeker, more refined and looking better than ever, it showcases the new character design in a map that our veterans know very well, the Xinyi District. The intense action sequence is just a peek into the intense combat of the game and reinforces the Ghost Recon Phantoms belief that by fighting as a team, you prevail,” Corey Facteau explained.
