SYNOPSIS

Eternal Blade is a new free-to-play browser-based action MMORPG opening up a lushly animated storybook world where players can get together to explore and experience adventures filled with danger and rewards. The colourful anime style blends seamlessly with the high action gameplay that sees players unleashing huge, powerful attacks to take down challenging bosses or whole hordes of monsters with every swing, shot, or spell.

Featuring multiple upgrade systems that impact appearance, statistics, and even skills, Eternal Blade creates a truly unique experience for every player.

GAME WORLD

Eternal Blade features a beautiful open world with a huge variety of locations to explore. The diverse zones have different types of areas within. Diverse, large expanses of land, fields make up the bulk of the world, being the place monsters roam. Players will find deserts, jungles, forests, swamps, and much more. There are many towns scattered throughout the world where lots of people gather in, as well as a huge amount of instanced dungeons.

Ether Gates allow players to quickly move between locations on the world map. After visiting a region in order to activate its Ether Gate, you can travel from one Ether Gate to another, even if it's all the way in a different zone.

CLASSES

Eternal Blade offers a set of 6 classes players may choose from, each one is restricted to a specific gender and comes with its own unique attributes and abilities:

Soul Summoner (female)
A bit arrogant, Soul Summoners have more power than one would imagine. They summon souls through their dark magic, turning them directly against their enemies or absorbing them to fuel devastating spells.

Knight (female)
Knights are the only class with a shield to block enemy attacks. They have the courage to charge into the heart of battle but the good sense to bring some defence along.

Mage (male)
Mages are masters of the arcane arts who have learned how to channel fire, ice, earth, and thunder. They get in touch with the elements in order to use them for destroying their enemies.

Archer (female)
Intelligent and careful, Archers never let their foes get close. They know how to position themselves in battle to gain environmental buffs and can pin bad guys to the ground with long range traps.

Thief (female)
Thieves are not just sneaky, they know hundreds of ways to stun, confuse, silence, paralyze, and disable their enemies for the killing strike.

Berserker (male)
The reckless Berserkers live according to simple code: when seeing an enemy, they charge them head on. With each attack from their mighty Great Swords, they become further fuelled by the very rage that drives them.

AEON SYSTEM

Regarding customisation, this system allows players to enhance their stats, skills, and abilities to craft their own unique character. It creates significant variation not only between the different classes but also between characters belonging to the same class.

An Aeon is a powerful spirit which can be created, equipped, and transformed. Each Aeon has a base class (such as Thief), but different versions of the same Aeon can be equipped by other classes. Players will be able to collect a wide array of various Aeons, each providing their own special enhancements for their character. As characters traverse the game world and gain experience, their loyal aeon will gain experience as well. This will bring additional enhancements and the opportunity for evolution into an even more powerful form.

Opponents you defeat in Eternal Blade will periodically drop a large, elemental orb known as "Ether". When having absorbed enough Ether, you will be able to transform the raw energy into a powerful Aeon.

JEWEL SOCKETING SYSTEM

This is another way to customise characters in Eternal Blade. With the Jewel Socketing System, players will be able to collect and craft various jewels which can then be inserted into their weapons, armour and jewellery. All in all, there are 7 different jewel types, each coming in 6 grades ranging from faded to radiant ornate. Each jewel provides different stat enhancements, allowing players to further refine their own unique character builds.

In order to successfully insert the jewels into the item’s sockets, players must visit a local blacksmith who, for a small fee, will assist them in the installation process. The number of sockets per item varies and also depends upon the item type.

ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM

With the Enhancement System, you will be able to increase the overall power of your weapons and improve any existing stat bonuses the weapon already granted. This ability is provided by items known as Enhancement Stones that can be collected from defeated monsters or created through an "Equipment Destruction" option, which allows you to break down equipment you don't need. Breaking down equipment rewards you with various upgrade materials, including the Enhancement Stones. The better the equipment's grade, the better the upgrade materials you receive.

Depending on your item's level, you will require different types of Enhancement Stones. Currently there are 4 types of Enhancement Stones: Silver, Cerulean, Maroon, and Onyx.
